Decree No. 121/1997/NĐ-CP stipulates the establishment of Di Lang town and some communes under Son Ha district, as well as two communes Hành Tín Đông and Hành Tín Tây under Nghia Thanh district, Quang Ngai province. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days from the date of issuance.

Regarding the establishment of a town and some communes under Son Ha and Nghia Hinh districts, Quang Ngai province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated September 30, 1992
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, establish a town and some communes under Son Ha and Nghia Hinh districts, Quang Ngai province as follows:
1. Establish the town of Di Lang and the commune of Son Trung under Son Ha district based on the entire area and population of Son Lang commune:
a. The town of Di Lang has 5,128 hectares of natural area and 9,107 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of the town of Di Lang: East borders Son Thanh commune; West borders Son Bao commune; South borders Son Trung and Son Thuan communes; North borders Tra Bong district.
b. The commune of Son Trung has 2,551 hectares of natural area and 3,574 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of the commune of Son Trung: East borders Son Giang, Son Thanh, and Son Hai communes; West borders Son Thuan commune; South borders Son Thuy commune; North borders the town of Di Lang.
2. Establish the commune of Son Hai under Son Ha district based on 2,648 hectares of natural area and 2,375 inhabitants of Son Thuy commune.
The administrative boundary of the commune of Son Hai: East borders Son Cao commune; West and North border Son Trung commune; South borders Son Thuy commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Son Thuy commune has 4,257 hectares of natural area and 3,485 inhabitants.
3. Establish the communes of Hinh Tin Dong and Hinh Tin Tay under Nghia Hinh district based on the entire area and population of Hinh Tin commune:
a. The commune of Hinh Tin Dong has 3,785 hectares of natural area and 4,652 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of the commune of Hinh Tin Dong: East borders Mo Duc district; West borders Hinh Tin Tay commune; South borders Duc Pho and Ba Tro districts; North borders Hinh Thien commune.
b. The commune of Hinh Tin Tay has 3,577 hectares of natural area and 4,091 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of the commune of Hinh Tin Tay: East borders Hinh Tin Dong commune; West borders Minh Long district; South borders Ba Tro district; North borders Hinh Thien commune.
Article 2. THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS DATE OF ISSUANCE. ALL PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRARY TO THIS DECREE SHALL BE ABROGATED.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
