Regarding financial support for salaries of full-time trade union officers responsibility

working at non-state enterprises

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Finance,

DECISION:

Article 1. Extract VND 1.2 trillion from the central government budget reserve for 2001 to supplement the budget of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to pay salaries to full-time trade union officers in joint ventures with foreign capital, concentrated industrial zones, and large private enterprises (with 300 workers or more).

Article 2. The Ministry of Finance shall coordinate with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to study the salary system and funding sources for full-time trade union officers outside state-owned enterprises, aiming to utilize the 2% of trade union funds managed by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to pay their salaries, starting from 2002.

Article 3. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.

Article 4. The Minister of Finance and the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs are responsible for implementing this Decision.
