PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the Government dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the Decree No. 50/CP dated August 6, 1993 of the Government on the functions, tasks, and powers of the Office of the Government;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the Steering Committee for Enterprise Reform and Development; the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Organization and Cadre Board of the Government, Document No. 259/TTr-BTCCBCP dated October 27, 2000; the Minister, Chairman of the Office of the Government,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Department for Enterprise Reform and Development under the Office of the Government shall be established.
Article 2. The Department for Enterprise Reform and Development shall have the function and task of assisting the Minister, Chairman of the Office of the Government in overseeing the field of restructuring, reform, and development of state-owned enterprises, serving the direction and management of the Government and the Prime Minister in this field; at the same time, it shall assist the Steering Committee for Enterprise Reform and Development in its activities according to the Committee's functions and tasks.
Article 3. The organizational structure and specific tasks of the Department for Enterprise Reform and Development shall be stipulated by the Minister, Chairman of the Office of the Government.
Article 4. The Chairman of the Steering Committee for Enterprise Reform and Development, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Organization and Cadre Board of the Government, the Minister, Chairman of the Office of the Government shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
