Regarding the establishment of the Phu Yen Regional Television Station
under the Vietnam Television
PRIME MINISTER
On the basis of Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the Government dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to Decree No. 52/CP dated 16 August 1993 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Vietnam Television; In order to gradually improve the quality and effectiveness of the National Television System;
The Prime Minister, the Head of the Civil Service Committee of the Government, the General Director of Vietnam Television, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen Province,
Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Article 1. Establish the Phu Yen Regional Television Station under the Vietnam Television. - The Phu Yen Regional Television Station shall have the function of producing and broadcasting programs for the common use of the Vietnam Television and producing and broadcasting programs specifically for the region comprising the provinces of Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, and Lam Dong.
DECISION:
Article 2. The functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Phu Yen Regional Television Station shall be defined by the General Director of the Vietnam Television after consulting and reaching consensus with the Civil Service Committee of the Government.
Article 3. Dissolve the Phu Yen Television Station and transfer all assets, technical equipment, and staff to the Phu Yen Regional Television Station under the Vietnam Television.
Assign the Civil Service Committee of the Government, the Ministry of Finance, the People's Committee of Phu Yen Province, and the Vietnam Television to carry out this handover.
Article 4. The General Director of the Vietnam Television shall be responsible for gradually building and consolidating the infrastructure and organizational structure of the Phu Yen Regional Television Station to effectively perform the tasks of a regional television station.
Article 5. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of issuance.
Article 6. The Ministers, the Heads of the Civil Service Committee of the Government, the Minister of Finance, the General Director of Vietnam Television, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen Province, and the Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
