Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Considering the report on the results of the Fourth National Congress of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry held on April 27 and 28, 2003;

At the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry,

DECISION:

Article 1. Approve the Charter of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry adopted by the Fourth National Congress of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry on April 27, 2003.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette and shall supersede Decision No. 315/TTg dated May 12, 1997.

Article 3. The Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-level agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
