SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM

NUMBER 125/NQ-UBTVQH19 DATED AUGUST 30, 1962

THE STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM

WHEREAS Article 53 of the Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam,

ON THE OCCASION OF THE 17TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDATION DAY OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM,

BASED ON THE RESULTS OF THE STATE'S EDUCATIONAL AND REFORM POLICIES TOWARDS PRISONERS,

AT THE PROPOSAL OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS,

RESOLVES:

1. To grant amnesty to prisoners who have served a period of time and have genuinely reformed.

2. The Council of Ministers, the Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuracy, and the President of the Supreme People's Court are responsible for implementing this resolution.
