DECREE
Regarding the establishment of the town of Thien Ton under Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province

GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Binh Province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now establish the town of Thien Ton, the district capital of Hoa Lu district based on 200 hectares of natural area and 3,621 population from Ninh My commune; 13.33 hectares of natural area and 729 population from Ninh Khang commune and 2.59 hectares of natural area from Ninh Giang commune.
Thien Ton town has 215.92 hectares of natural area and 4,350 population.
The administrative boundary of Thien Ton town: East borders communes Ninh Khang and Ninh My; West borders commune Ninh Hoa; South borders commune Ninh My; North borders commune Ninh Giang.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Thien Ton town:
Ninh My commune retains 414.41 hectares of natural area and 5,397 population.
Ninh Khang commune retains 692.24 hectares of natural area and 6,884 population.
Ninh Giang commune retains 639.62 hectares of natural area and 6,618 population.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Binh Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
