DECREE-LAW
PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
NO. 126/SL DATE July 11, 1950
PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 82-SL dated May 22, 1950, fixing the monthly allowance for members of the Government;
In accordance with public opinion and the proposal by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance;
And in compliance with the resolution of the Council of Ministers after consultation with the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;
ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:
Article 1: Clause 3 of Decree-Law No. 82-SL dated May 22, 1950, fixing additional allowances for family members of Government officials is hereby amended as follows:
"New Clause 3: Members with families shall receive an additional monthly allowance for their family as follows:
- Wife: one allowance equivalent to the price of 11 kg of rice;
- Each child: one allowance equivalent to the price of 5.5 kg."
Article 2: This Decree-Law shall take effect from July 1, 1950.
Article 3: The Prime Minister and Ministers are hereby instructed to implement this Decree-Law accordingly.
