PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Finance (document No. 12300/BTC-NSNN dated September 12, 2007),
DECISION:
Article 1. The Ministry of Finance shall release without charge three hundred ninety tons (390 tons) of rice from the national reserve under its management to provide emergency food aid to households affected by brown planthopper infestations, dwarf disease, and leaf curl disease in Tra Vinh Province.
The People's Committee of Tra Vinh Province shall receive the aforementioned amount of rice and provide timely assistance to the appropriate recipients.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
Article 3. The Ministers of Finance, Planning and Investment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh Province are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
