Issuing the schedule of fees and charges for securities market activities

Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on tasks, powers, and responsibilities of ministries and ministerial-level agencies in state management;
Pursuant to Decree No. 178/CP dated October 28, 1994 of the Government on tasks, powers, and organization of the Ministry of Finance;
Pursuant to Decree No. 04/1999/NĐ-CP dated January 30, 1999 of the Government on fees and charges under state budget;
Pursuant to Decree No. 48/1998/NĐ-CP dated July 11, 1998 of the Government on securities and the securities market;
After receiving comments from the State Securities Commission (Letter No. 141/UBCK dated October 14, 1999);
At the proposal of the Director General of the Tax Administration,
DECISION
Article 1:
Issuing with this Decision the Schedule of Fees and Charges for Securities Market Activities. Article 2:
State management agencies responsible for securities market activities shall register, declare, collect, and remit charges to local tax authorities according to Circular No. 54/1999/TT-BTC dated May 10, 1999 of the Ministry of Finance guiding the implementation of Decree No. 04/1999/NĐ-CP dated January 30, 1999 of the Government on fees and charges under state budget. Article 3:
Organizations and individuals participating in securities market activities must pay the types of fees and charges as prescribed by this Decision. Article 4:
Agencies collecting fees and charges for securities activities are entitled to retain 10% of the collected fees and charges for expenses related to collection according to point 5.b, Section III of Circular No. 54/1999/TT-BTC dated May 10, 1999 of the Ministry of Finance. For Securities Trading Centers, the retention rate shall be applied as prescribed in point 3c, Section II of Circular No. 10/1999/TT-BTC dated January 29, 1999 of the Ministry of Finance on temporary guidelines for financial management of Securities Trading Centers. Article 5:
This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of issuance. Article 6:
Organizations and individuals subject to fees and charges for securities activities, units assigned by the State Securities Commission to collect such fees and charges, and relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decision. Organizations and individuals subject to the payment of securities transaction fees and charges, units assigned by the State Securities Commission to collect such fees and charges, and relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
