Regarding the transfer of duties as heads of advisory and inter-ministerial coordination organizations established by the Government
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
DECISION:
Article 1Transfer the duties as heads of some advisory and inter-ministerial coordination organizations established by the Prime Minister to the following Ministers:
1. The Central Council for National Defense Education established pursuant to Decision No. 119/2001/QĐ-TTg dated August 15, 2001 of the Prime Minister and the Civil Air Defense Steering Committee established pursuant to Decision No. 05/2003/QĐ-TTg dated January 8, 2003 of the Prime Minister shall be assumed by the Minister of National Defense.
2. The Steering Committee for the National Program on Crime Prevention and Control established pursuant to Decision No. 59/2004/QĐ-TTg dated April 9, 2004 of the Prime Minister and the Steering Committee for the Action Program on Combating Trafficking in Women and Children established pursuant to Decision No. 187/2004/QĐ-TTg dated October 29, 2004 of the Prime Minister shall be assumed by the Minister of Public Security.
3. The Steering Committee for University Education Reform established pursuant to Decision No. 170/QĐ-TTg dated February 6, 2006 of the Prime Minister shall be assumed by the Minister of Education and Training.
4. The Steering Committee for Key Mechanical Product Programs established pursuant to Decision No. 112/2003/QĐ-TTg dated June 9, 2003 of the Prime Minister shall be assumed by the Minister of Industry.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.
Members of the Government, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
