DECISION

Regarding the supplementation of maritime fee and charge levels

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE

Based on the Ordinance on Fees and Charges and guiding documents for theimplementation of the Ordinance on Fees and Charges;

To encourage foreign vessels to bring tourists to Vietnam for tourism and toreduce difficulties for vessels mooring in inactive bays;

At the proposal of the Director General of the State Revenue Administration,

 DECISION:

Article 1:

1.AApply preferential maritime fee and charge levels for tourist vessels arrivingin Vietnam with a total deadweight (GT) of up to 200GT or less, following astable route and docking at least ten times per month per port as follows:

2.AApply a vessel anchorage fee in bays and harbors for international shippingvessels waiting without cargo handling for a period of one (01) month or longerat fifty percent (50%) of the anchorage fee stipulated in Point a1, Section III,Part B, Appendix Table Number 1 issued together with Decision No. 48/2001/QD-BTC dated May 28, 2001 of the Minister of Finance.

Article 2:This Decision takes effect from the date of signature. Other provisions regardingmaritime fees and charges not mentioned in this Decision shall continue to beimplemented according to Decision No. 48/2001/QD/BTC dated May 28, 2001 andcurrent guiding documents on maritime fees and charges issued by the Minister ofFinance.

Article 3:Organizations and individuals subject to payment of fees and charges, portauthorities, and related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
