DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER

Regarding the establishment of the Management Board for Industrial Zones of Quang Tri Province

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to Decree No. 36/CP dated April 24, 1997 of the Government promulgating the Regulations on industrial zones, export processing zones, and high-tech parks;

Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri Province at Document No. 2535/TT-UB dated December 10, 2004 and the Minister of Home Affairs at Document No. 473/TTr-BNV dated March 8, 2005,

DECISION:

Article 1. The Management Board for Industrial Zones of Quang Tri Province is established under the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee to manage industrial zones within the territory of Quang Tri Province.

The Management Board for Industrial Zones of Quang Tri Province shall be responsible for performing tasks and exercising powers related to the management of industrial zones as prescribed in Article 27 of the Regulations on industrial zones, export processing zones, and high-tech parks issued together with Decree No. 36/CP dated April 24, 1997 of the Government.

The Management Board for Industrial Zones of Quang Tri Province shall have legal personality, a bank account, and a seal bearing the national emblem. The staffing and operating funds of the Management Board shall be included in the state budget allocated to Quang Tri Province.

Article 2. The Management Board for Industrial Zones of Quang Tri Province shall have a Director appointed by the Prime Minister; several Deputy Directors and some members appointed by the Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee.

The Management Board for Industrial Zones of Quang Tri Province shall have an organizational structure as prescribed in Article 28 of the Regulations on industrial zones, export processing zones, and high-tech parks issued together with Decree No. 36/CP dated April 24, 1997 of the Government.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 4. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-level agencies, the Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee, and the Director of the Management Board for Industrial Zones of Quang Tri Province are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
