Pursuant to Decision No. 1009/QD-TTg dated July 28, 2006 of the Prime Minister on the division of work among the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers,

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Appoint Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung to serve as the Chairman of the Vietnam Sub-committee within the Joint Government Committee on Economic Cooperation, Cultural, Scientific and Technological Cooperation between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
DECISION:
Article 1. The organization and operation of the aforementioned Sub-committee shall be carried out in accordance with Decision No. 258/TTg dated April 29, 1995 of the Prime Minister on the organization and operation of the Vietnam Sub-committee within the Joint Government Committee (Mixed Committee) on Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technological Cooperation and Cultural Cooperation with foreign countries.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
The Chairman and members of the aforementioned Vietnam Sub-committee, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairmen of Provincial People's Committees, and Chairmen of Municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
Article 3. The Chairman and members of the aforementioned Vietnam Branch, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
