Decree No. 13/1998/NĐ-CP stipulates the establishment of some communes under the districts of Châu Thành, Trà Cú, Tiểu Cần, Cầu Ngang, Cầu Kè and Càng Long, Province of Trà Vinh. CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SOME COMMUNES BELONGING TO THE DISTRICTS OF CHAU THANH, TRA CU, TIEU CAN, CAU NGANG, CAU KE AND CANG LONG, PROVINCE OF TRA VINH
ARTICULATED BRIDGES, LEVEE BRIDGES, AND JETTIES, PROVINCE OF TRÀ VINH
THE GOVERNMENT
Based on the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992,
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh Province and the Minister - Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government.
DECREE
Article 1. Now establish the communes My Chanh, Dinh An, Tan Hung, Long My Nam, Long My Bac, Hoa Tan and An Truong A belonging to the districts of Chau Thanh, Tra Cu, Tieu Can, Cau Ngang, Cau Ke and Cang Long as follows:
1. Establish the commune My Chanh under the district of Chau Thanh based on 2,558.3 hectares of natural area and 9,495 population of the commune Thanh My.
The administrative boundary of the commune My Chanh: East borders the commune Da Loc; West borders the commune Thanh My; South borders the commune Phuoc Hung (district Tra Cu); North borders the town Chau Thanh.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, the commune Thanh My has 1,729 hectares of natural area and 8,704 population.
2. Establish the commune Dinh An under the district of Tra Cu based on 1,696.51 hectares of natural area and 6,848 population of the commune Dai An.
The administrative boundary of the commune Dinh An: East borders the commune Dai An; West borders the river Hau Giang; South borders the commune Long Vinh (district Duyen Hai); North borders the commune Ham Giang.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, the commune Dai An has 1,630.08 hectares of natural area and 8,709 population.
3. Establish the commune Tan Hung under the district of Tieu Can based on 1,890.89 hectares of natural area and 8,374 population of the commune Hung Hoa.
The administrative boundary of the commune Tan Hung: East borders the commune Ngai Hung; West borders the commune Tan Hoa; South borders the commune Hung Hoa; North borders the commune Tap Ngai and the town Tieu Can.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, the commune Hung Hoa has 1,927.91 hectares of natural area and 8,164 population.
4. Divide the commune My Long under the district of Cau Ngang into two communes My Long Nam and My Long Bac.
The commune My Long Nam has 6,548.7 hectares of natural area and 6,018 population.
The commune My Long Bac has 6,039.3 hectares of natural area and 9,684 population.
5. Establish the commune Hoa Tan under the district of Cau Ke based on 1,261.72 hectares of natural area and 5,198 population of the commune Hoa An; 1,657.97 hectares of natural area and 4,501 population of the commune An Phu Tan.
The commune Hoa Tan has 2,919.69 hectares of natural area and 9,699 population.
The administrative boundary of the commune Hoa Tan: East borders the commune Chau Duyen; West borders the commune An Phu Tan; South borders the river Hau Giang; North borders the town Cau Ke and the commune Hoa An.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
The commune Hoa An has 2,097.18 hectares of natural area and 8,181 population.
The commune An Phu Tan has 2,428.57 hectares of natural area and 11,412 population.
6. Establish the commune An Truong A under the district of Cang Long based on 1,658.3 hectares of natural area and 9,134 population of the commune An Truong.
The administrative boundary of the commune An Truong A: East borders the commune An Truong; West borders the commune Hieu Thanh (district Vuong Lien); South borders the commune Tan Binh; North borders the commune My Cam.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, the commune An Truong has 3,070.24 hectares of natural area and 15,704 population.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect fifteen days after its issuance. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh Province and the Minister - Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
