ON RENAMING THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS TO THE MINISTRY OF PUBLIC SECURITY
THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM

WHEREAS, Article 84 and Article 114 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam 1992, Article 2 of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly, Article 2 of the Law on the Organization of the Government, and the approval of the National Assembly on May 7, 1998;
AT THE PROPOSAL OF THE GOVERNMENT PRIME MINISTER;
RESOLUTION:
THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS IS RENAMED THE MINISTRY OF PUBLIC SECURITY.
THIS RESOLUTION WAS APPROVED BY THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM AT ITS TENTH SESSION, THIRD MEETING ON MAY 7, 1998.
