DECISION OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK

Regarding supplementing Point 5 of Appendix 3 on the banking code system

used in settlement transactions through the State Bank issued together with

Decision No. 02/2006/QD-NHNN dated January 18, 2006

of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam

GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 1997 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 2003;

On the basis of the Law on Credit Organizations 1997 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Credit Organizations 2004;

On the basis of Decree No. 52/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;

At the proposal of the Head of the Settlement Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Supplement the bank code for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation - Ho Chi Minh City Branch into Point 5 of Appendix 3 on the banking code system used in settlement transactions through the State Bank issued together with Decision No. 02/2006/QD-NHNN dated January 18, 2006 of the Governor of the State Bank as follows:

Article 2. This Decision takes effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, the Head of the Settlement Department, the Director of the Information Technology Department of the State Bank, the Heads of units under the State Bank, the Directors of the State Bank's Transaction Departments, the Governors of the State Bank's provincial and centrally-administered city branches, Chairmen of Management Councils, General Managers (Directors) of organizations providing payment services are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
