REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF GUIDELINES FOR CONSULTATION AND HEALTH CHECKS FOR PERSONS REGISTERING TO DONATE TISSUE, ORGAN FROM LIVING DONORS, POST-MORTEM TISSUE AND ORGAN DONATION, AND BODY DONATION
THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Pursuant to Decree No. 188/2007/ND-CP dated December 27, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Pursuant to the Law on Organizing, Collecting, Transplanting Human Tissue and Organs and Donating Corpses No. 75/2006/QH11 dated November 29, 2006;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment under the Ministry of Health,

Article 1. The Guidelines for consultation and health checks for persons registering to donate tissue, organ from living donors, post-mortem tissue and organ donation, and body donation are hereby promulgated together with this Decision.
Article 2. These guidelines shall apply to health departments involved in collecting, transplanting tissue and organs from living donors; collecting, transplanting tissue and organs from deceased donors, and preserving donated bodies.
Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 4. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Inspectorate, the Departments, and the Units under the Ministry of Health, the Directors of Provincial Health Services under the Central Government, the Directors of Hospitals and Institutes under the Ministry of Health, and the Heads of Health Services of various sectors are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
