Regulations on the Symbolization of Land Use Status Maps for Land Use Planning and Land Use Planning Maps

Based on the Land Law dated November 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Decree No. 181/2004/NĐ-CP dated October 29, 2004 of the Government on the implementation of the Land Law; dated Pursuant to Decree No. 19/2010/NĐ-CP dated March 5, 2010 of the Government amending and supplementing Points c, d, g, h, and i of Clause 5, Article 2 of Decree No. 25/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;
Pursuant to Decree No. 69/2009/NĐ-CP dated August 13, 2009 of the Government on additional provisions regarding land use planning, land prices, land recovery, compensation, support, and resettlement;
Pursuant to Decree No. 25/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;
The land type symbols as prescribed in Circular No. 19/2009/TT-BTNMT dated November 2, 2009 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment detailing the establishment, adjustment, and review of land use planning and land use plans on land use status maps serving land use planning and land use planning maps at scales of 1:1000, 1:2000, 1:5000, 1:10,000, 1:25,000, 1:50,000, 1:100,000, 1:250,000, and 1:1,000,000 are specified in Appendix 1 attached hereto.
At the request of the Director General of the Land Administration General Department and the Head of the Legal Department,
c) Enterprises may be granted permission for no more than one block out of the total three dual-frequency blocks (FDD) B
Article 1. Color codes for different types of land displayed on land use status maps serving land use planning and digital land use planning maps using Microstation software are specified in Appendix 2 attached hereto.
The land type symbols on land use status maps serving land use planning and land use planning maps at scales of 1:1000, 1:2000, 1:5000, 1:10,000, 1:25,000, 1:50,000, 1:100,000, 1:250,000, and 1:1,000,000 shall be uniformly applied for the establishment, inspection, and review of land use status maps serving land use planning and land use planning maps at the national level; geographic-economic regions; provinces and centrally governed cities (collectively referred to as provincial level); districts, towns, and urban districts under provinces (collectively referred to as district level); communes, wards, and towns (collectively referred to as commune level).
Article 2. Other symbols include boundary symbols, economic, cultural, social object symbols, road traffic and related object symbols, water system and related object symbols, landform symbols; place name annotations; layout diagrams of land use status maps and land use planning maps; sample land use structure charts; sample confirmation and approval forms for land use status maps and land use planning maps implemented according to the set of land use status map and land use planning map symbols issued together with Decision No. 23/2007/QĐ-BTNMT dated December 17, 2007 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
Article 3. This Circular takes effect from May 30, 2011.
Article 4. The Minister, Heads of Ministries equivalent to Ministries, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, Directors of the General Department of Land Administration, Heads of units under the Ministry, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
