Circular No. 13/2022/TT-BTNMT of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on economic and technical norms for establishing sea surface temperature maps and chlorophyll concentration maps at sea surface scale 1:500,000, 1:1,000,000 using low-resolution optical remote sensing data, effective from December 12, 2022.
Key points
- The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment issues economic and technical norms for establishing sea surface temperature maps and chlorophyll concentration maps at sea surface scale 1:500,000, 1:1,000,000 using low-resolution optical remote sensing data.
- Units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, and Municipal Departments of Natural Resources and Environment directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for implementing this Circular.
🌐 Social impact of this document
- Positive impact: Provides accurate information about sea surface temperature and chlorophyll concentration, supporting marine environmental management.
- Negative impact: Implementation costs may be high for units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
❓ Frequently asked questions
When were the economic and technical norms issued?
The economic and technical norms were issued together with Circular No. 13/2022/TT-BTNMT, effective from December 12, 2022.
To whom does this Circular apply?
This Circular does not specify the subjects to which it applies, but units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, and Municipal Departments of Natural Resources and Environment directly under the Central Government have the responsibility to implement it.
What conditions are required to establish sea surface temperature maps?
Establishing sea surface temperature maps requires the use of low-resolution optical remote sensing data, at scales of 1:500,000 or 1:1,000,000.
How are chlorophyll concentration maps at sea surface established?
Establishing chlorophyll concentration maps at sea surface also requires the use of low-resolution optical remote sensing data, at scales of 1:500,000 or 1:1,000,000.
When does this Circular take effect?
This Circular takes effect from December 12, 2022.
