PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to Ordinance on the Conclusion and Implementation of International Treaties No. 07/1998/PL-UBTVQH10 dated August 20, 1998;
Considering the proposal of the Governor of the State Bank and the opinions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Trade.
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the amendment to Part I, Article XV (Special Drawing Rights) of the Articles of Agreement of the International Monetary Fund and adds a new Annex M to the Articles of Agreement to allocate additional Special Drawing Rights to member countries and allocate Special Drawing Rights to newly joined member countries that have not yet been allocated.
Article 2. The Minister of Foreign Affairs shall be responsible for notifying the International Monetary Fund of Vietnam's approval of the fourth amendment to the Articles of Agreement of the International Monetary Fund.
Article 3. The State Bank of Vietnam and the Ministry of Finance shall be responsible for carrying out the necessary procedures for accounting and managing the allocated Special Drawing Rights.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, the Minister of Finance, and the heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
