Regarding the amendment of Clause 3, Article 4 of Decision No. 168/2001/QĐ-TTg dated October 30, 2001 on long-term orientation, five-year plan 2001-2005, and basic solutions for socio-economic development in the Central Highlands region
Considering the actual implementation of Decision No. 168/2001/QĐ-TTg dated October 30, 2001;
Abolishing the provision: "providing four meters of fabric per person per year to households in dire need, poor households (according to the criteria of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs), village elders, village chiefs with difficulties, and families with meritorious service to the country with ordinary fabric" stipulated in Clause 3, Article 4 of Decision No. 168/2001/QĐ-TTg dated October 30, 2001 on long-term orientation, five-year plan 2001-2005, and basic solutions for socio-economic development in the Central Highlands region.

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

The Committee for Ethnic Minorities shall take the lead and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to propose practical and effective forms of support to replace the abolished form of support as provided in Article 1 of this Decision. The proposal shall be submitted to the Prime Minister within July 2003.

DECISION:

Article 1. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces in the Central Highlands region are responsible for implementing this Decision.

Article 2. The National Ethnic Minorities Committee shall take the lead and coordinate with relevant ministries and sectors to propose practical and effective forms of support to replace the abolished forms of support as prescribed in Article 1 of this Decision. The proposal shall be submitted to the Prime Minister before July 2003.

Article 3. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 4. The ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, and government-affiliated agencies, and the chairpersons of the People's Committees of the Central Highlands provinces shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
