DECREE

REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF MINH TAN, PHU THU TOWNS AND THE RENAMING OF AN LUU TOWN TO KINH MON TOWN IN KINH MON DISTRICT, HAI DUONG PROVINCE
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL SUBMITTED BY THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR AND THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF HAI DUONG PROVINCE,

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

DECREE:

The establishment of MINH TAN and PHU THU TOWNS and the renaming of AN LUU TOWN to KINH MON TOWN in KINH MON DISTRICT, HAI DUONG PROVINCE shall be carried out as follows:

Article 1. 1. Establish MINH TAN TOWN based on the entire natural area and population of MINH TAN COMMUNE.

MINH TAN TOWN has an area of 1,348.04 hectares and a population of 19,645 people.

The administrative boundaries of MINH TAN TOWN: East borders QUANG NINH PROVINCE; West borders PHU THU TOWN and DUY TAN COMMUNE; South borders HAI PHONG CITY; North borders QUANG NINH PROVINCE.

2. Establish PHU THU TOWN based on the entire natural area and population of PHU THU COMMUNE.

PHU THU TOWN has an area of 881.36 hectares and a population of 13,350 people.

The administrative boundaries of PHU THU TOWN: East borders MINH TAN TOWN; West borders DUY TAN COMMUNE; South borders HIEP SON COMMUNE, KINH MON TOWN, and HAI PHONG CITY; North borders TAN DAN COMMUNE and MINH TAN TOWN.

3. Rename AN LUU TOWN to KINH MON TOWN.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of HAI DUONG PROVINCE, the Minister of Interior, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree. /.

Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3.The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree ./ .
