GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

 

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 126-SL dated July 19 establishing procedures for the establishment and modification of administrative boundaries,

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 198-SL dated June 13, 1948 establishing procedures for the establishment and modification of anti-Japanese resistance administrative boundaries,

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 163-SL dated November 28, 1948 merging Gia Lâm County (including the city) into Hưng Yên Province,

Considering the current situation,

In accordance with the proposal of the Supreme National Defense Council,

in compliance with the resolution of the Government Council, after consultation with the Standing Committee of the National Assembly,

 

ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:

Article 1- Gia Lâm County (including the city), which was previously merged into Hưng Yên Province (Region 3), is now returned to Bắc Ninh Province (Region 1).

Article 2- The Supreme National Defense Council shall implement this Decree-Law in accordance with its provisions./.
