Amending some points in Decision 58/TTg
dated February 3, 1994 on the organization and policy regime for grassroots health facilities
PRIME MINISTER
To implement Resolution No. 4 of the Fourth Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Seventh Term, on urgent issues concerning the care and protection of people's health;
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
At the proposal of the Minister of Health, the Director of the Civil Service and Personnel Department under the Government, the Minister of Finance, and the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs;
DECISION:
Article 1.- Replacing Point 2, Article 3 of Decision No. 58/TTg dated February 3, 1994 on the organization and policy regime for grassroots health facilities with the following new provision:
Medical staff at grassroots level specified in Points a and b, Clause 1, Article 2 of Decision No. 59/TTg who are not within the State’s establishment shall enjoy all benefits and be subject to the salary grade coefficient of medical personnel within the State’s establishment with the same qualifications as stipulated in Decree No. 25/CP dated May 25, 1993 of the Government.
Article 2.- Supplementing Clause 3, Article 3 of Decision No. 58/TTg as follows:
The number of full-time medical staff at grassroots level in highland, border, and island communes shall be included in the State’s establishment.
Article 3.- This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
Article 4.- The Ministers of Health, Finance, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Director of the Civil Service and Personnel Department under the Government shall guide the implementation of this Decision.
Article 5.- The Ministers of various ministries, heads of agencies equivalent to ministries, agencies under the Government, and Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities shall be responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
