Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Transport (document number 596/GTVT-KHĐT dated March 5, 2001, and number 2410/GTVT-KHĐT dated July 25, 2001), and the review opinion of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (document number 4631 BKH/VPTĐ dated July 11, 2001),
DECISION:
Article 1. The total investment amount for the construction project of Can Tho Bridge on National Route 1A is approved as follows:
The total investment amount is 37,006 million Japanese Yen (equivalent to 4,832 billion VND, based on the exchange rate: 1 USD = 108 JPY = 14,100 VND).
Article 2. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, relevant sectors, Chairpersons of the People's Committees of Vinh Long Province and Can Tho City are responsible for implementing this Decision.
