PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decision No. 155/2004/QĐ-TTg dated August 24, 2004 of the Prime Minister on issuing criteria and classification lists for state-owned enterprises and independent accounting subsidiaries under State-Owned Corporations;
Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh Province,
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the adjustment of the restructuring and renewal plan for some state-owned enterprises under the People's Committee of Tra Vinh Province as follows:
1. Shareholding, with the State retaining controlling shares: Rural Electricity Development Company.
2. Shareholding, with the State retaining controlling shares upon initial share sale: Water Supply and Drainage Company.
3. Shareholding, with the State retaining low-level shares or no shares: Housing Development Company.
4. Transfer to business entities: Comprehensive Culture Company.
5. Dissolution: Agricultural Seed and Service Company.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh Province directs the completion of the implementation of the restructuring and renewal of state-owned enterprises according to Decision No. 229/QĐ-TTg dated February 26, 2003 of the Prime Minister and this Decision within 2005.
Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh Province and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
