Issuing the Regulation on Information for Early Warning and Forecasting Marine Natural Disasters
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 24/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 1997 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Ordinance on Exploitation and Protection of Hydro-meteorological Works;
Pursuant to Decree No. 08/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 16, 2006, issued by the Government, detailing certain provisions of the Ordinance on Flood and Storm Prevention, which was amended and supplemented on August 24, 2000;
Pursuant to Decision No. 137/2007/QĐ-TTg dated August 21, 2007 of the Prime Minister approving the Project on Organizing Information Services for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control at Sea;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT,
DECISION:
Article 1. This Decision promulgates the Regulation on Information for Early Warning and Forecasting Marine Natural Disasters attached hereto.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from December 20, 2009.
Article 3. The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment shall be responsible for directing, organizing, guiding, and supervising the implementation of this Decision.
The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairman of the Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control, Chairman of the National Committee for Search and Rescue, Chairmen of Provincial People's Committees directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
