Regarding the Recognition of Agricultural Testing Laboratories

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

CPursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Based on Decision No. 139/1999-QĐ-BNN-KHCN dated October 11, 1999 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the issuance of the Regulation on the Recognition and Management of Agricultural Testing Laboratories;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department and Product Quality Control Department;

DECISION:

Article 1. Recognize The Southern Plant Variety Testing Laboratory under the National Plant Variety Testing Laboratory in the South as an Agricultural Testing Laboratory for the tests listed in Appendix 1.

Article 2. The laboratory shall have a seal with the code number 08.The seal shall be in the form and content as presented in Appendix 2. The seal may only be used to confirm test results issued by the laboratory.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of signature. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Science and Technology Department and Product Quality Control Department, the Head of the Southern National Plant Variety Testing Laboratory, and related units are responsible for implementing this Decision.

FORM AND CONTENT OF THE SEAL

OF THE QUALITY CONTROL TEA TESTING LABORATORY

Square shape, each side measuring 3.0 cm.

Divided into two parts with a horizontal line at two-thirds from the top.

The upper part contains two lines of text, the first line reads:Testing Laboratory, the second line reads: agriculture.The lower part contains the code number 08 of the Testing Laboratory.

Ink color of the seal is purple.
