DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF HO CHI MINH CITY NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
UNDER HO CHI MINH CITY NATIONAL UNIVERSITY
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
BASED ON THE EDUCATION LAW ON JUNE 14, 2005;
BASED ON THE DECREES NO. 07/2001/NĐ-CP OF FEBRUARY 1, 2001 OF THE GOVERNMENT ON NATIONAL UNIVERSITIES;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING AT THE PETITION NO. 4147/TTr-BGD&ĐT OF MAY 22, 2006 ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF HO CHI MINH CITY NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY UNDER HO CHI MINH CITY NATIONAL UNIVERSITY,
DECISION:
Article 1. ESTABLISH HO CHI MINH CITY NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY UNDER HO CHI MINH CITY NATIONAL UNIVERSITY ON THE BASIS OF THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CENTER.
Article 2. HO CHI MINH CITY NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SHALL HAVE LEGAL PERSONHOOD, ITS OWN SEAL, AND SEPARATE ACCOUNTS.
Article 3. HO CHI MINH CITY NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SHALL OPERATE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UNIVERSITIES REGULATIONS ISSUED TOGETHER WITH THE DECREE NO. 153/2003/QĐ-TTg OF JULY 30, 2003 OF THE PRIME MINISTER.
Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE.
Article 5. THE MINISTERS, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT MINISTRY-LIKE AGENCIES, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, CHAIRMEN OF PROVINCE AND CITY PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES DIRECTLY UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, DIRECTORS OF HO CHI MINH CITY NATIONAL UNIVERSITY, AND RECTORS OF HO CHI MINH CITY NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
