DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER

On the establishment of Chu Van An University

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Education Law on June 14, 2005;

Pursuant to Decision No. 47/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 of the Prime Minister approving the planning of the university network for the period 2001-2010;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training (Proposal No. 4190/TTr-BGD&ĐT dated May 24, 2006) regarding the establishment of Chu Van An University,

DECISION:

Article 1. Chu Van An University is established.

Article 2. Chu Van An University is a higher education institution with its headquarters located in Hung Yen Province, possessing legal personality, having its own seal and separate bank account.

Article 3. Chu Van An University operates under the Regulations on the organization and operation of private universities issued together with Decision No. 14/2005/QĐ-TTg dated January 17, 2005 of the Prime Minister.

Article 4. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 5. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees directly under the central government, and the Founding Board of Chu Van An University are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
