Regarding the release of national reserve rice to support Long An Province in providing emergency relief to households affected by brown planthopper infestations, dwarf disease, and stunt disease on rice crops.

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Finance (document number 13189/BTC-NSNN dated October 1, 2007),
DECISION:
Article 1. The Ministry of Finance shall release without charge five hundred fifty-five tons (555 tons) of rice from the national reserve under its management to provide emergency relief to households affected by brown planthopper infestations, dwarf disease, and stunt disease on rice crops in Long An Province.
The People's Committee of Long An Province shall accept the aforementioned amount of rice and provide timely and appropriate assistance.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
Article 3. The Ministers of Finance, Planning and Investment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Long An Province are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
