Approving the Scheme for the reorganization and modernization of state-owned farms Decree

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated December 25, 2001.
Pursuant to the Decree No. 170/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 22, 2004 of the Government on the reorganization, modernization, and development of state-owned farms.
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tây Ninh Province.
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the Scheme for the reorganization and modernization of state-owned farms under the People's Committee of Tây Ninh Province as follows:
Continuing to consolidate and develop the following companies:
- Tây Ninh Sugar Company.
- Limited Liability Company 22/12.
- Tây Ninh Rubber Company 1/5.
Convert the processing facilities of these three companies into joint-stock enterprises.
Article 2. Chairman of the People's Committee of Tây Ninh Province:
1. Direct the implementation of the reorganization and modernization of state-owned farms as provided in Article 1 of this Decision.
2. Coordinate with political organizations and socio-political organizations in the reorganization of agricultural production companies under these organizations.
3. Decide to adjust the area and boundaries of land allocated to state-owned farms in accordance with the local agricultural development plan and relevant laws on land, forest protection, and development.
Article 3. The Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Planning and Investment, Natural Resources and Environment, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Home Affairs, and related agencies shall be responsible for coordinating with the People's Committee of Tây Ninh Province in implementing this Scheme.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Tây Ninh Province and heads of related agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
