REGARDING THE APPROVAL OF THE NUMBER OF ELECTORAL UNITS, THE LIST OF ELECTORAL UNITS AND THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF THE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL OF HAIPHONG CITY FOR THE 1999-2004 TERM

THE GOVERNMENT
APPROVES THE NUMBER OF 49 (FORTY-NINE) DELEGATES TO THE SOC TRANG PROVINCIAL PEOPLE'S COUNCIL, 17 (SEVENTEEN) ELECTORAL UNITS, AND THE NUMBER OF DELEGATES TO BE Elected IN EACH ELECTORAL UNIT FOR THE SOC TRANG PROVINCIAL PEOPLE'S COUNCIL (ATTACHED LIST).
Pursuant to the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Haiphong City and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. - APPROVES the number of 63 (sixty-three) members of the People's Council of Haiphong City, 24 (twenty-four) electoral units, and the number of representatives elected from each electoral unit for the People's Council of Haiphong City (attached list).
Article 2. - The Chairman of the People's Committee of Haiphong City; the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government, and the Minister, Director of the Government Office shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
