Regarding the application of policies for the border economic zone Route 19, Gia Lai province

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province at the report No. 1494/TT-UB dated October 26, 2000 and the supplementary report No. 495/TT-UB dated April 4, 2001; the proposal of the Minister of Planning and Investment at the report No. 5443/BKH/QLKT dated August 14, 2001 and the opinions of relevant central ministries and agencies,
DECISION:
Article 1. The border economic zone Route 19, Gia Lai province includes the communes of Ia Kla, Ia Pnon, Ia Nan, Ia Dom and the township of Chu Ty in Duc Co district.
Article 2. The border economic zone Route 19, Gia Lai province shall apply Decision No. 53/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 19, 2001 of the Prime Minister on policies for border economic zones.
Article 3. During the implementation, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province shall be responsible for:
- Closely coordinating with the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to implement projects related to defense strategy effectively, thereby promoting socio-economic development and national security.
- Prioritizing the order of investment in construction projects and sub-projects so that when completed, they can be put into effective use.
- LEADING AND COORDINATING WITH RELATED MINISTRIES AND SECTORS TO EVALUATE THE APPLICATION OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED POLICIES AND ADVISE THE GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN ON NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS AND SUPPLEMENTS.
Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
