GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam No. 01/1997/QH10 dated December 12, 1997; the Law on Credit Organizations No. 02/1997/QH10 dated December 12, 1997;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 stipulating the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state administration of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

At the proposal of the Director of the Banking Information Technology Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. This Decision promulgates the "Regulation on the management and use of information technology systems in the banking industry".

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature and shall supersede Decision No. 218/QĐ-NH16 dated November 15, 1993 issued by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam on the regulation on the management and use of computers, information equipment, and information security in the banking industry.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, the Director of the Banking Information Technology Department, the Heads of units under the State Bank of Vietnam; the Governors of the State Bank of Vietnam branches in provinces and centrally-administered cities; the General Directors (Directors) of state credit organizations; the Precious Metals Corporation are responsible for implementing this Decision.
