Regarding the division of Kon Plông district, Kon Tum province into two districts of Kon Plông and Kon Rẫy; renaming Kon Plông town to Dak Rve town
Kon Plông town in Kon Rẫy district shall be renamed as Dak Rve town as follows:
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Dividing Kon Plông district under Kon Tum province into two districts of Kon Plông and Kon Rẫy; renaming Kon Plông town under Kon Rẫy district to Dak Rve town as follows:
1. Dividing Kon Plông district into two districts of Kon Plông and Kon Rẫy.
Kon Plông district has an area of 136,160 hectares and a population of 17,967, including six administrative units which are communes: Dak Ring, Ngok Tem, Mang But, Mang Canh, Po E and commune Hieu.
The administrative boundaries of Kon Plông district: East borders Quang Ngai province; West borders Dak To district; South borders Gia Lai province; North borders Quang Nam province.
Kon Rẫy district has an area of 88,660 hectares and a population of 20,992, including six administrative units which are communes: Tan Lap, Dak Ruong, Dak Koi, Dak Pne, Dak To Re and town Kon Plông.
The administrative boundaries of Kon Rẫy district: East borders Kon Plông district; West borders Kon Tum city and Dak Ha district; South borders Gia Lai province; North borders Kon Plông district.
2. Renaming Kon Plông town in Kon Rẫy district to Dak Rve town.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government and heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree. /./
