DECREE

Regarding the establishment of Thinh Dan Ward and renaming Thinh Dan Commune to Quyet Thang Commune under Thai Nguyen City, Thai Nguyen Province

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province,

 

DECREE:

Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish Thinh Dan Ward and rename Thinh Dan Commune to Quyet Thang Commune under Thai Nguyen City, Thai Nguyen Province.

1. Establish Thinh Dan Ward based on 466.95 hectares of natural area and 7,866 population from Tan Thinh Ward; 128.96 hectares of natural area from Thinh Duc Commune; and 20.27 hectares of natural area from Thinh Dan Commune.

Thinh Dan Ward has 616.18 hectares of natural area and 7,866 population.

Administrative boundary of Thinh Dan Ward: East borders Tan Lap Ward; West borders Quyet Thang Commune; South borders Thinh Duc Commune; North borders Tan Thinh Ward and Quyet Thang Commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Thinh Dan Ward:

Tan Thinh Ward retains 363.35 hectares of natural area and 4,822 population.

Thinh Duc Commune retains 1,708.23 hectares of natural area and 8,168 population.

Thinh Dan Commune retains 1,292.78 hectares of natural area and 12,833 population.

2. Rename Thinh Dan Commune to Quyet Thang Commune.

Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province, the Minister of Interior, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
