DECISION OF THE MINISTER
MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Regarding the issuance of the List of Forestry Tree Varieties Permitted for Production and Business.

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Animal Health, the Head of the Science and Technology Division.
Pursuant to the Plant Variety Law No. 15/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;
At the proposal of the Director of the Forest Management Department and the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology,
DECISION:
Article 1. Attached to this Decision is the "List of Forestry Tree Varieties Permitted for Production and Business", including the following 5 types:
1. Recognized varieties and varieties from seedling forests, recognized seed gardens, and recognized mother tree gardens.
2. Varieties of species permitted for production and business but must have seed sources from converted forests or recognized mother trees.
3. Varieties of species permitted for production and business but must have seed sources from selected forest compartments.
4. Varieties of species permitted for production and business without needing recognized seed sources.
5. Varieties permitted for business through importation.
Article 2. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Directors of the Forest Service, Heads of the Science and Technology Department, Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development under the Central Government, Heads of related units; organizations and individuals involved in activities related to the production and business of forestry tree varieties are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
