Decree No. 14/2006/NĐ-CP adjusts administrative boundaries of some communes and towns in Na Hang District, Tuyen Quang Province. Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries for some communes and towns under Na Hang District, Tuyen Quang Province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang Province.
DECREE
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries of some communes and towns under Na Hang District, Tuyen Quang Province are adjusted as follows:
1. Adjustment of administrative boundaries for some communes and towns under Na Hang District, Tuyen Quang Province:
a) Dissolve the following communes under Na Hang District: Thu Lo Commune, Xuan Tan Commune, Xuan Tien Commune, Trung Khanh Commune, and Vinh Yen Commune.
b) Adjust the administrative boundaries of the dissolved communes as follows:
- Transfer 8,736 hectares of natural area from Thu Lo Commune to Phuc Yen Commune.
- Transfer 3,222 hectares of natural area from Thu Lo Commune, 6,950 hectares of natural area from Xuan Tan Commune, and 165 hectares of natural area from Xuan Tien Commune to Khuon Ha Commune.
- Transfer 5,946 hectares of natural area from Xuan Tien Commune, and 3,048 hectares of natural area and 545 residents from Trung Khanh Commune to Thuong Lam Commune.
- Transfer 1,500 hectares of natural area from Trung Khanh Commune, and 620 hectares of natural area from Vinh Yen Commune to Khau Tinh Commune.
- Transfer 1,450 hectares of natural area from Trung Khanh Commune to Cong Lon Commune.
- Transfer 3,167 hectares of natural area and 495 residents from Trung Khanh Commune, and 342 residents from Vinh Yen Commune to Nang Ka Commune.
- Transfer 4,536 hectares of natural area from Vinh Yen Commune to Son Phu Commune.
- Transfer 1,686 hectares of natural area and 109 residents from Vinh Yen Commune to Na Hang Town.
- Transfer 258 residents from Thu Lo Commune, 872 residents from Xuan Tan Commune, 1,845 residents from Xuan Tien Commune, 456 residents from Trung Khanh Commune, and 436 residents from Vinh Yen Commune to Chiem Hoa District.
- Transfer 3,492 residents from Thu Lo Commune, 288 residents from Xuan Tien Commune, 978 residents from Trung Khanh Commune, and 658 residents from Vinh Yen Commune to Yen Son District.
- Transfer 123 residents from Xuan Tien Commune, 645 residents from Trung Khanh Commune, and 1,781 residents from Xuan Tan Commune to Ham Yen District.
c) Adjust the administrative boundaries of other communes under Na Hang District:
- Transfer 550 hectares of natural area from Phuc Yen Commune to Khuon Ha Commune; transfer 349 residents from Phuc Yen Commune to Lang Can Commune.
- Transfer 600 hectares of natural area from Khuon Ha Commune to Phuc Yen Commune.
- Transfer 350 hectares of natural area from Son Phu Commune to Khau Tinh Commune.
- Transfer 1,200 hectares of natural area and 346 residents from Khau Tinh Commune to Son Phu Commune.
- Transfer 332 residents from Khau Tinh Commune and 930 residents from Son Phu Commune to Yen Son District.
- Transfer 420 hectares of natural area and 1,034 residents from Thanh Tuong Commune to Na Hang Town.
- Transfer 560 hectares of natural area and 550 residents from Nang Ka Commune to Na Hang Town.
2. After adjusting the administrative boundaries of some communes and towns under Na Hang District:
a) Na Hang District:
Na Hang District has 147,166 hectares of natural area and 54,742 residents, with 17 administrative units directly under its jurisdiction (including 16 communes and 1 town).
- Da Vi Commune has 7,945 hectares of natural area and 5,117 residents.
Administrative boundary of Da Vi Commune: East borders Cao Tan Commune, Cao Thượng Commune, Nam Mau Commune, Bac Kan Province; West borders Khuon Ha Commune, Yen Hoa Commune, Son Phu Commune; South borders Son Phu Commune, Xuan Lac Commune, Bac Kan Province; North borders Hong Thai Commune, Yen Hoa Commune.
- Yen Hoa Commune has 5,808 hectares of natural area and 4,538 residents.
Administrative boundary of Yen Hoa Commune: East borders Da Vi Commune, Hong Thai Commune, Co Linh Commune, Bac Kan Province; West borders Cong Lon Commune, Khuon Ha Commune; South borders Khuon Ha Commune, Da Vi Commune; North borders Thong Nong Commune.
- Hong Thai Commune has 1,575 hectares of natural area and 1,347 residents.
Administrative boundary of Hong Thai Commune: East borders Co Linh Commune, Bac Kan Province; West borders Yen Hoa Commune; South borders Da Vi Commune; North borders Cong Bang Commune, Bac Kan Province.
- Thong Nong Commune has 5,291 hectares of natural area and 4,084 residents.
Administrative boundary of Thong Nong Commune: East borders Cong Bang Commune, Bac Kan Province; West borders Sinh Long Commune, Cong Lon Commune; South borders Yen Hoa Commune, Cong Lon Commune; North borders Thong Gia Commune.
- Thong Gia Commune has 2,932 hectares of natural area and 1,715 residents.
Administrative boundary of Thong Gia Commune: East borders Cong Bang Commune, Bac Kan Province; West borders Thong Nong Commune; South borders Thong Nong Commune; North borders Duong Am Commune, Bac Me District, Ha Giang Province; Yen Tho Commune, Bao Lam District, Cao Bang Province.
- Sinh Long Commune has 10,653 hectares of natural area and 2,052 residents.
Administrative boundary of Sinh Long Commune: East borders Thong Nong Commune, Cong Lon Commune; West borders Khuon Ha Commune; South borders Thong Lam Commune, Cong Lon Commune; North borders Phieng Luong Commune, Yen Cuong Commune, Duong Hong Commune, Bac Me District, Ha Giang Province.
- Lang Can Commune has 7,293 hectares of natural area and 4,161 residents.
Administrative boundary of Lang Can Commune: East borders Khuon Ha Commune, Thong Lam Commune, Nang Ka Commune; West borders Xuan Lap Commune, Binh An Commune, Chiem Hoa District; South borders Tho Binh Commune, Chiem Hoa District; North borders Phuc Yen Commune, Khuon Ha Commune.
- Xuan Lap Commune has 7,541 hectares of natural area and 1,782 residents.
Administrative boundary of Xuan Lap Commune: East borders Phuc Yen Commune, Na Hang District; West borders Bach Ngoc Commune, Vi Xuyen District, Ha Giang Province; South borders Binh An Commune, Chiem Hoa District; Lang Can Commune; North borders Phuc Yen Commune; Ngoc Minh Commune, Vi Xuyen District, Ha Giang Province.
- Phuc Yen Commune has 17,449 hectares of natural area and 2,615 residents.

- Khuon Ha Commune has 14,087 hectares of natural area and 3,041 residents.

- Thong Lam Commune has 14,256 hectares of natural area and 4,305 residents.

- Son Phu Commune has 12,892 hectares of natural area and 2,477 inhabitants.

- Kau Ting Commune has 8,545 hectares of natural area and 1,159 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of Kau Ting Commune: East borders Son Phu Commune, Yen Hoa Commune; West borders Thang Lam Commune; South borders Son Phu Commune, Na Hang Town; North borders Cong Lon Commune, Yen Hoa Commune.
- Cong Lon Commune has 5,716 hectares of natural area and 1,921 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of Cong Lon Commune: East borders Yen Hoa Commune, Thang Nong Commune; West borders Sinh Long Commune; South borders Kau Ting Commune; North borders Thang Nong Commune.
- Thanh Tuong Commune has 10,310 hectares of natural area and 2,637 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of Thanh Tuong Commune: East borders Yen Thinh Commune, Cho Don District, Bac Kan Province; West borders Hung My Commune, Phuc Son Commune, Chiem Hoa District; South borders Yen Lap Commune, Hung My Commune, Chiem Hoa District; North borders Na Hang Town, Nang Ka Commune, Son Phu Commune.
- Nang Ka Commune has 10,510 hectares of natural area and 5,007 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of Nang Ka Commune: East borders Na Hang Town; West borders Phuc Son Commune, Chiem Hoa District; South borders Thanh Tuong Commune; North borders Thang Lam Commune.
- Na Hang Town has 4,363 hectares of natural area and 6,784 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of Na Hang Town: East borders Son Phu Commune; West borders Nang Ka Commune; South borders Thanh Tuong Commune; North borders Kau Ting Commune.
b) After receiving the population figures transferred from Na Hang District:
- Yen Son District has 187,385 inhabitants.
- Chiem Hoa District has 139,324 inhabitants.
- Ha Myen District has 109,537 inhabitants.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The People's Committee of Tuyen Quang Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./
