Issuing Regulations on the Handling and Plugging of Unused Wells

MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Water Resources dated May 20, 1998;
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 91/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;
At the proposal of the Director of the Water Resources Management Agency and the Head of the Legal Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. The attached Regulations on the Handling and Plugging of Unused Wells are hereby issued with this Decision.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The People's Committee Chairmen of provinces and centrally governed cities, the Director of the Water Resources Management Agency, the Directors of Provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, Heads of units under the Ministry, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
