THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, authorities, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

Pursuant to Decree No. 171/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 29, 2004 of the Government stipulating the organization of specialized agencies under the People's Committee of provinces and centrally-administered cities;

Pursuant to Circular Joint No. 11/2005/TTLT-BYT-BNV dated April 12, 2005 of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Home Affairs guiding the functions, tasks, authorities, and organizational structure of specialized agencies assisting the People's Committee in managing health affairs at the local level;

Upon the proposal of the Director of the Cadre and Civil Servant Department and the Director of the Preventive Health Department of Vietnam.

DECISION:

Article 1. Issued together with this Decision "Regulations on Functions, Tasks, Authorities and Organizational Structure of the International Health Inspection Center of Provinces and Cities under Central Government Direct Administration".

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The Decision No. 3889/2003/QĐ-BYT dated July 22, 2003 of the Minister of Health regarding the issuance of the "Regulations on Functions, Tasks and Organizational Structure of the International Health Inspection Center under the Provincial Health Departments of Provinces and Cities under Central Government Direct Administration" is hereby repealed.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Directors of the Cadre and Civil Servant Department, Directors of the Preventive Health Department of Vietnam, Directors of the Health Departments of provinces and centrally-administered cities, and Heads of related units are responsible for implementing this Decision.
