GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 1997; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 2003;

Pursuant to the Law on Credit Organizations 1997; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Law on Credit Organizations 2004;

Pursuant to Decree No. 52/2003/ND-CP dated May 19, 2003, issued by the Government, detailing the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 48/2001/NĐ-CP dated August 13, 2001 on the organization and operation of People's Credit Funds and the Government Decree No. 69/2005/NĐ-CP dated May 26, 2005 amending and supplementing certain articles of the Government Decree No. 48/2001/NĐ-CP dated August 13, 2001 on the organization and operation of People's Credit Funds;

At the proposal of the Inspector General of the State Bank of Vietnam.

DECISION:

Article 1. The Regulation on Classification of People's Credit Funds is hereby promulgated together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace the following Decisions:

- Decision No. 467/2000/QĐ-NHNN3 dated November 7, 2000 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam promulgating the Regulation on Classification of People's Credit Funds.

- Decision No. 1601/2001/QĐ-NHNN dated December 28, 2001 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam amending and supplementing certain provisions of the Regulation on Classification of People's Credit Funds issued pursuant to Decision No. 467/2000/QĐ-NHNN3 dated November 7, 2000 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, the Inspector General of the State Bank of Vietnam, the Heads of relevant units under the State Bank of Vietnam, the Governors of the State Bank of Vietnam branches in provinces and centrally governed cities, the Chairmen of the Management Boards, the General Directors (Directors) of central People's Credit Funds, and local People's Credit Funds are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
