Regarding the amendment of certain provisions in Decision No. 43/2008/QĐ-BTTTT dated July 17, 2008 of the Ministry of Information and Communications on the issuance of intercity connection tariffs for long-distance calls and mobile calls to fixed-line phones

Pursuant to Decree No. 187/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 25, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Information and Communications;
Pursuant to Decision No. 39/2007/QĐ-TTg dated March 21, 2007 of the Prime Minister on the management of postal and telecommunications service tariffs;
Pursuant to Decision No. 155/2008/QĐ-TTg dated December 1, 2008 of the Prime Minister approving the adjustment plan for fixed-line telephone intra-district service tariffs;
In accordance with the proposal of the Director of the Telecommunications Department,
c) Enterprises may be granted permission for no more than one block out of the total three dual-frequency blocks (FDD) B
Article 1. Amend certain provisions regarding connection tariffs for long-distance inter-provincial calls and mobile calls to fixed-line phones in Decision No. 43/2008/QĐ-BTTTT dated July 17, 2008 of the Ministry of Information and Communications as follows:
1. The term: "intra-provincial" in the aforementioned Decision shall be replaced by the term "intra-district";
2. Provisions related to the intra-district area and adjustment time in Point 1 of this Article shall be implemented according to the provisions in Decision No. 155/2008/QĐ-TTg dated December 1, 2008 of the Prime Minister Approving the Adjustment Plan for Fixed-Line Telephone Intra-District Service Tariffs.
Article 2. This Circular takes effect 45 days from the date of signature. Any previous regulations that conflict with the provisions of this Circular are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Head of the Office, the Director of the Telecommunications Department, the Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Information and Communications, the General Directors, Directors of telecommunications service providing enterprises, and relevant units are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
