Circular No. 14/2023/TT-BCT revokes Circular No. 43/2012/TT-BCT dated December 27, 2012, issued by the Minister of Industry and Trade on the management of hydropower project planning, investment construction, and operation and exploitation of hydropower works.

 CIRCULAR

Repeals Circular No. 43/2012/TT-MIC dated December 27, 2012, issued by the Minister of Industry and Trade on management of hydropower project planning, investment construction, and operation and exploitation of hydropower works

Pursuant to the Law on Legislative Regulatory Documents dated June 22, 2015; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Legislative Regulatory Documents dated June 18, 2020;

Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2016/ND-CP dated May 14, 2016, promulgated by the Government detailing certain provisions and measures for implementing the Law on Legislative Issuance of Legal Normative Documents; Decree No. 154/2020/ND-CP dated December 31, 2020, promulgated by the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 34/2016/ND-CP dated May 14, 2016, promulgated by the Government detailing certain provisions and measures for implementing the Law on Legislative Issuance of Legal Normative Documents;

Based on Decree No. 96/2022/NĐ-CP dated November 29, 2022 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

At the proposal of the Director of the Electricity and Renewable Energy Department;

The Minister of Industry and Trade issues this Circular to repeal Circular No. 43/2012/TT-MIC dated December 27, 2012, issued by the Minister of Industry and Trade on management of hydropower project planning, investment construction, and operation and exploitation of hydropower works.

Article 1. Repeals entirely Circular No. 43/2012/TT-MIC dated December 27, 2012, issued by the Minister of Industry and Trade on management of hydropower project planning, investment construction, and operation and exploitation of hydropower works.

Article 2. Effective Date

This Circular takes effect from August 1, 2023.

Article 3. Implementation Organization

The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Head of the Department of Legal Affairs, the Director of the Electricity and Renewable Energy Administration, the Director of the Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection Administration, the Director of the Electricity Regulatory Administration, the People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
