CIRCULAR
Amending and supplementing certain Articles of Circular No. 06/2021/TT-BVHTTDL dated July 22, 2021 issued by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism
concerning standards for awarding ranks to high-performance sports athletes
On the basis of the Law on Physical Education and Sports No. 77/2006/QH11 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Physical Education and Sports No. 26/2018/QH14;
The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism issues this Circular amending and supplementing certain Articles of Circular No. 06/2021/TT-BVHTTDL dated July 22, 2021 issued by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism concerning standards for awarding ranks to high-performance sports athletes.
Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2025/NĐ-CP dated February 28, 2025 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism;
At the proposal of the Director of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training of Vietnam;
Article 1. Replacing the Appendix at point a Clause 3 Article 3
The Appendix accompanying Circular No. 06/2021/TT-BVHTTDL dated July 22, 2021 issued by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism concerning standards for awarding ranks to high-performance sports athletes shall be replaced by the Appendix accompanying this Circular.
Article 2. Replacing the phrase
Replace the phrase "General Department of Physical Education and Sports" with the phrase "Vietnam Sports Administration" in Article 4 and Clause 3 Article 5.
This Circular takes effect from January 1, 2026.
Article 3. Implementation Provisions
For applications for awarding ranks to high-performance sports athletes that are being processed before the effective date of this Circular, the provisions of Circular No. 06/2021/TT-BVHTTDL dated July 22, 2021 issued by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism concerning standards for awarding ranks to high-performance sports athletes shall apply.
