Decree No. 14/CP Regarding the establishment of town centers in Tan Yen and Luc Nam districts, Bac Giang province.

DECREE NO. 14/CP OF FEBRUARY 18, 1997 ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF MARKET TOWNS IN LY DISTRICTS OF TAN YEN AND LUC NAM COUNTIES, BAC GIANG PROVINCE
HUYEN LY BELONGING TO TAN YEN AND LUC NAM COUNTIES - BAC GIANG PROVINCE

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the Government dated September 30, 1992;

CONSIDERING the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang Province and the Minister - Head of the Organization and Cadre Department of the Government,

DECREE:

Article 1.- NOW, the establishment of market towns in Ly districts belonging to Tan Yen and Luc Nam counties of Bac Giang province is as follows:

1. Establish the town of Cao Thuong, the district town of Tan Yen county based on 238.96 hectares of natural area and 3,810 population of Cao Thuong commune; 28.3 hectares of natural area and 781 population of Cao Xa commune; 1.88 hectares of natural area and 72 population of Lien Son commune.

- The town of Cao Thuong has 269.14 hectares of natural area and 4,663 population.

The boundaries of the town of Cao Thuong: East borders Cao Thuong commune, West borders Cao Xa commune; South borders Cao Xa commune and Cao Thuong commune; North borders Lien Son commune and Cao Thuong commune.

After adjusting the boundaries:

- Cao Thuong commune retains 627.79 hectares of natural area and 5,909 population.

- Cao Xa commune retains 1,535.02 hectares of natural area and 9,579 population.

- Lien Son commune retains 758.89 hectares of natural area and 4,610 population.

2. Establish the town of Doi Ngo, the district town of Luc Nam county based on 290 hectares of natural area and 3,071 population of Chu Dien commune; 142 hectares of natural area and 1,955 population of Tien Hung commune; 40 hectares of natural area and 113 population of Tam Di commune.

- The town of Doi Ngo has 472 hectares of natural area and 5,139 population.

The boundaries of the town of Doi Ngo: East borders Tien Hung commune; West borders Bao Dai commune and Chu Dien commune; South borders Chu Dien commune; North borders Tam Di commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries:

- Chu Dien commune retains 1,432 hectares of natural area and 9,729 population.

- Tien Hung commune retains 694 hectares of natural area and 5,321 population.

- Tam Di commune retains 2,654 hectares of natural area and 14,662 population.

Article 2.- This Decree shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.

ARTICLE 3.The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang Province and the Minister - Head of the Organization and Cadre Department of the Government are responsible for implementing this Decree.
