This Circular amends certain provisions of Circular No. 120/2012/TT-BTC on the training allowance for Laotian and Cambodian students in Vietnam. Pursuant to Decree No. 215/2013/NĐ-CP dated December 23, 2013 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance
Pursuant to Decree No. 60/2003/NĐ-CP dated June 6, 2003 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law on State Budget
This Circular takes effect from February 15, 2025.
The Minister of Finance issues this Circular amending certain Articles of Circular No. 120/2012/TT-BTC dated July 24, 2012 of the Ministry of Finance guiding the training cost for Lao and Cambodian students (under Agreement) studying in Vietnam:
Article 1. Amend Clause 1 of Article 6 as follows:
"1. The living expenses for exchange students include food, snacks, personal clothing, daily travel expenses, and study materials provided monthly, at the following rates:
a) Long-term secondary education exchange students: VND 2,680,000 per exchange student per month.
b) Long-term university-level exchange students: VND 3,160,000 per exchange student per month.
c) Long-term postgraduate-level exchange students: VND 3,580,000 per exchange student per month.
d) Short-term training exchange students (less than 12 months): VND 4,190,000 per exchange student per month.
Article 2. Amend Clause 2 of Article 6 as follows:
"2. For educational institutions that organize centralized meals compulsorily, the meal allowance shall be implemented according to the centralized meal quota of the institution. The allowance for snacks, daily travel expenses, and study materials shall be provided at the following rates:
a) Long-term secondary education exchange students: VND 1,390,000 per exchange student per month.
b) Long-term university-level exchange students: VND 1,680,000 per exchange student per month.
c) Long-term postgraduate-level exchange students: VND 2,090,000 per exchange student per month.
d) Short-term training exchange students (less than 12 months): VND 2,560,000 per exchange student per month."
Article 3. Implementation Organization
1. This Circular takes effect from December 1, 2014.
2. In the course of implementation, if there are any difficulties, please send comments to the Ministry of Finance for supplementation and amendment within its authority./.
