DECREE
No. 140 dated July 26, 1946
CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to Decree No. 61 dated May 6, 1946 on the organization of the National Economy Department;
At the request of the Minister of the National Economy Department;
After deliberation by the Council of Ministers,
DECREE:
Article 1
The Mineral Resources and Industry Office (Department of National Economy) shall establish an agency to sell books and maps published by the Geology Bureau.
Article 2
The staff responsible for selling these books and maps shall be appointed by a decree of the Minister of the National Economy Department.
Article 3
These books and maps may be sold to Vietnamese government offices and individuals deemed necessary.
Article 4
Staff responsible for selling books and maps must bear responsibility for temporarily holding collected funds, which shall be remitted monthly to the Treasury.
Article 5
Revenue from these sales in 1946 will be recorded under Chapter 27, Section 2 of the Vietnam Budget, and in subsequent years, under corresponding chapters.
