DECISION
Regulations on organizing tendering for export quotas of textile and garment products to the EU market in 1999

Pursuant to Decision No. 1349/BTM-QĐ dated November 7, 1998 of the Minister of Commerce establishing the Tender Board for export quotas of textile and garment products;
Pursuant to Decision No. 1405/1998/QĐ-BTM dated November 17, 1998 of the Ministry of Commerce promulgating the Tender Regulations for export quotas of textile and garment products to markets with quota regulations;
Pursuant to Circular Joint No. 20/1998/TTLT/BTM/BKHĐT/BCN dated October 12, 1998 of the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and the Ministry of Industry regarding the allocation of export quotas of textile and garment products to markets with quota regulations;
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE TENDER BOARD DECIDES
Article 1: To announce the list, quantity of quotas, bidding price for each category (Cat.), and the maximum quantity for a single bid application for export quotas of textile and garment products to the EU market in 1999, as attached to this Decision.
Article 2: Enterprises participating in the tender for export quotas of textile and garment products must pay the bidding fee and the bidding deposit for each category (Cat.) they bid as follows:
Bidding fee: VND 50,000.00.
Bidding deposit: VND 2,000,000.00.
The bid fee revenue will be used to cover the costs of preparing and organizing the bidding (printing, distribution, sending documents and files, and other expenses related to the bidding process...).
The bidding deposit shall be transferred to the account of the Ministry of Commerce number 361-111-000-725 at the State Bank of Vietnam.
Article 3:
Bid registration period: from December 1, 1998 to December 14, 1998.
Bid opening date: December 15, 1998.
Bid opening location: Head office of the Ministry of Commerce - 21 Ngo Quyen Street, Hanoi.
Agencies and enterprises witnessing the bid opening: Representatives of the Hanoi Department of Commerce, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Commerce, Ho Chi Minh City Association of Commerce and Industry, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vietnam Textile and Garment Corporation, Trade Newspaper, Investment Newspaper, Industry Newspaper, Finance Newspaper.
Article 4: This Decision takes effect from the date of signing.
Article 5: Members of the Tender Board and participating enterprises are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
